We are excited to welcome you to the 2026 FHSLA Mid-Year Meeting: “Will AI Replace Librarians—or Reinvent Them?”


Join us on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for an engaging and thought-provoking program exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of librarianship.



During the meeting, you will have the opportunity to attend the following courses:


  • “Leading from the Front, Reclaiming the Center: Articulating a Library Response to the AI Challenge” Presented by Dr. Sheila Corrall

  • “Looking Up and Moving Forward: Planning Self-Paced AI Activities for Librarian Competency and Reskilling” Presented by Dr. Howard Rodriguez-Mori

Participants will receive 2.5 MLA CE credits for attending.
