Communication Committee
Beth Layton and Allison Howard are Co-Chairs.
Charge: The Communications Committee will communicate about FCHIN efforts and Florida consumer health information resources to librarians, health care practitioners, and the citizens of Florida.
Summer 2008: Shu Qian, a library school student at FSU, assisted with the website creation.
The goal is that it will include the following:
- An overview of FCHIN and progress reports from the chair
- Information about FCHIN projects and events.
- Florida consumer health information resources
September 2008: FCHIN website becomes an active link on the Florida Health Sciences Library Association (FHSLA) webpage. Beth and Allison met on Sept. 15 to discuss strategies and next steps.
